Ubisoft has long cherished love with Nintendo: the French publishing house was pleased to release exclusives for the Wii and Wii U. And for Nintendo Switch, the company seems to be preparing a non-standard crossover with the most important symbol of video games - Mario.
The Kotaku website reports that it received from a source a set of illustrations with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As you might guess, the game will bring together characters from Nintendo and rabid rabbits.
As Kotaku writes, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle from genres is closest to RPG. The combat system will be step-by-step, with the possibility of a local cooperative for two people, and spice up the game with silly jokes. Interestingly, the materials mention the engine Snowdrop - apparently, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle are assembled on the same technology as Tom Clancy's The Division.
The game will have eight main characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Princess Peach, as well as four rabbits ... disguised as Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Princess Peach!
According to Kotaku, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will be released on the Nintendo Switch in August or September of this year. So, they announce the game, most likely, in the area of E3 2017.
